Nagging gift: Silver-Furried rebel by SteinWill Nagging gift: Silver-Furried rebel by SteinWill
this is return gift for :iconsilver-furred: who as from my point of view been continually nagging me from to time to keep my "promise" (I never promised anything mind you) of drawing his fursona as a rebel for his two gifts [link] and [link] gifts (which both where really neat ofcourse^^)

problem with this is that I ALLWAS ends up beening the one who spends the most time and energy on such drawigns sicne I preffer drawign to it's full potential.
that combined with the fact taht I'm spent and out of art juice after doing one drawing means that I can't get started on anything else for myself afterwards.

and thus you have one of the reasons why 75% of all my drawings in my gallery is eather of another character or contains another character

well sorry about that rant, hope you like it, it turned out quite alot better than expected especially sicne I made the background from scratch.

Well it shows how much you put into this image. Think of it in these terms when you have a gift or a request. It will undoubtedly always make you leave your comfort zone and push yourself because you want it to look just so or perfect. It can be a real headache and lead to that artistic slump because of the desire to make it good. But in the end it pays off with what you are able to take away from the project with you. Look at your back ground. It is really neat and your soldier looks great as well. Your ability to draw guns intrigues me. I try and try but they never look right. Nice job.

aww thanks! =) yea atleast I managed to push myself in a new direction with this drawing eventhough it was abit of a pain to get done with..
but yea I'm pleased with the fact that I actually bothered to draw the background from scratch with little actual help =)

The posing is nicely done, showing that the character is sneaking into the attack (the way the feet are positioned also brings the effect more dramatically, thumbs up on that).

Oooooh, I'm so nasty... :icontrollfaceplz:
Remember that you could always end my nagging by simple "F*ck off, Silver!" ;)
The fact that you managed to do so awesome drawing despite the artistic problems is a great succes in my opinion :)
Pic is just lovely. When I viewed it during the programming lesson in my school, my friend sitting next to me said: "Wow! Epic picture!"
I want to Thank you so much for all the patience, Stein :) I think that I should draw some more gifts for you..

Hey! Put that rifle down! I won't be nagging you for any more pics now!!

haha good to see you managed to see through my endless grumbling, I'm in hind sight glad I finished this and spent this much time on it =)
The good thing about getting started on such a drawing as this is that I Feel it doesn't HAve to look good and thus I end up experimenting with new colouring styles and tecnicues which in this case turned out great! and I even for once bothered to try a real attempt on drawing background without tracing or too much help! and that turned out fairly good^^

the pose whoever was a PAIN in the buttocks to get right with they way he is leaning forward crouched... I guess during that frustration I started getting sliiightly heated up =P

so I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound THAT angry, it's good to get a nudge in back (or in your case, in the RIBS) to get started ;)
I won't ofcourse say no to any drawing but do so at your own pace =) any bandanna rebel is 5stars ++ in my book so not that hard to please me =P
